The skipping art school art school has helped me a lot with reaching this goal: Finding a style that I can call mine!
I found that I have a style that I can call 'mine' now. The last post with its artwork clearly shows a good style that I can call my own, this style puts more detail on the facial features and shading. This makes my style more real than the normal anime style.
So, with this awesome style, I'm now going to begin character designs. This will take quite a bit of time I have a lot of characters and I'm still shaky with my art. Anyway, This is what I plan to do:
Since I'm still learning how to draw, I'll draw each character design in the following process.
- The head: facial features, with different hair styles and shaded drawn.
- Designing the body mass: Thin, thick, strong, weak, or characteristic movement
- Draw one or three pictures with the character interacting with other characters or doing something.
- The final design: the body, height and the face.
I now have five main characters:
- Kara C. Wyatt
- Hisa Wyatt
- Irene Thomas
- Nichelle Wills
- Drake Grunewald (aka - Drake Redd)
I also have a lot of supporting characters.
- Wren (aka - Beans)
- Angel (aka - Angelia Redd)
- Warwick Yordai
- Utta
- Magdeli
- Daren Wyatt
- Amy Wyatt
- Alex Wyatt
- Landon Wyatt
- Logan Wyatt
- Chihomi Wyatt
- Jon Thomas
- Jenny Thomas
- Nala Wills
- Fred Earnshawn
- Tony Earnshawn
- Jammie Earnshawn
- Mike Hensen + two friends
